SamuelCrollIn addition to this role, Mr. Croll is the CEO of The Clean Air Group., LLC, an engineering firm specializing in the custom design of air pollution control equipment. Under his leadership, The Clean Air Group broadened and improved its engineering and technical expertise to meet the expanding needs of its customers worldwide. He joined the firm in 1983 and took over as CEO in 2003. During his tenure, the Company experienced consistent growth while pursuing an increasingly global focus.

Earlier in his career, Croll was with the law firm Barnes Richardson & Coburn, New York, where he specialized in international trade. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and has been admitted to the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Court for the District of Connecticut.

Mr. Croll holds a law degree from New York Law School, a master’s degree from Yale University, New Haven, Conn., and an undergraduate degree from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Mazda Controls Ltd., a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial equipment based in Ahmedabad, India.

Mr. Croll is on the Board of Advisors at Yale University. He is also a Trustee Emeritus at Skidmore College and a Trustee of Newark Academy.

Mr. Croll has spent significant time at sea engaged in transoceanic voyages in Europe, the United States and the Far East.
